Dog Days of Summer: Fun with Your Dog in Wheaton June 18

Fun with Your Dog in Wheaton's Memorial Park

Fun with Your Dog in Wheaton's Memorial Park

Party with your dog Monday, June 18 from 6:00-8:00P at “Sasha’s Summer Snow Day” a unique summer event for dogs and their families sponsored by the Wheaton Park District.

Healthy stimulation and pet-owner bonding are encouraged through fun, themed activities, snacks and demonstrations by dog obedience and agility instructor, Gayle Cosentino. Beat the heat with puppy (and people) snow cones, photos with surfing Santa, bobbing for snow balls and more. A great way to improve your pet’s socialization skills.

Event takes place in Memorial Park, 208 W. Union Avenue, adjacent to the Wheaton Park District Leisure Center.
This ticketed event includes entry to a safe off-leash area. Sponsors include BMO Harris Bank and Animal Medical Center in Wheaton. A second "Dog Days" event will be held, June 25.

Tickets are $15 per dog, or $20 at the park that night. Every dog must be accompanied by at least one adult handler. Dogs must arrive on leash with up-to-date vaccinations. Purchase tickets online at www.wheatonparkdistrict.com/tickets, or at the Wheaton Park District Community Center, 1777 S. Blanchard Road.

Dog obedience and agility classes are offered year round by the Wheaton Park District.
