White Sox legend Frank Thomas will be touring the south and southwest suburbs this week to promote his new product, The Big Hurt Beer.

The former baseball player will visit the six Durbin’s restaurants this week to do meet and greets and talk about his beer, said Durbin’s owner Tim McAuliffe.

“We’re going to have it on tap and he’s coming to promote it to our customers,” he said. “He is one of the best that ever played for the Sox, I’m sure a lot of people are going to want to come out and talk to him.”

The Durbin’s schedule:

  • Palos Hills, 7 p.m. Thursday
