Legoland gets ready for Santa

As its contribution to the holiday season, Legoland in Schaumburg wants to do what employees there think no one in America has done — construct a 12-foot Christmas tree made entirely out of Legos, with children doing most of the building.

The Streets of Woodfield store is taking the concept from Denmark and bringing it to the states. With supervision from employees, he kids will assemble the tree starting Friday, with the goal of having it done by Christmas.
