April brings us the first flowers of spring, and also reminds us that it is time to start preparing our native landscapes for success. In this presentation, David will cover such topics as:

* Preparing your beds for a healthy new season’s growth
* Using compost to improve soil conditions and plant health
* Pruning native grasses, shrubs, and trees
* Planning for changes in the garden
* Shopping for excellent native plants . . . the How and Where
* Choosing the Right Plant, in the Right Soil, in the Right Place
* Finding resources and guidance for care of new and young plantings

Wild Ones will also have Chapter members available to discuss questions and issues in your garden.
