Spring-Green Lawn Care employees help out at the Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Plainfield, Ill.-based Spring-Green Lawn Care employees volunteered at the Northern Illinois Food Bank in Geneva, Ill. this week. Spring-Green’s CEO Ted Hofer said:
“We wanted to do something for the community for the holidays and helping out at the food bank was a great way to do so. With unemployment being so high and more and more people at or below the poverty line and in need of basic services and meals, this seemed like a good way to volunteer and give back to the needy people of northern Illinois. Our entire staff rallied around the cause and worked over the course of two days allowing them to volunteer on company time.”
Founded in 1977, Plainfield, Illinois-based Spring-Green Lawn Care has been delivering both traditional and organic lawn and tree care services nationwide for over 34 years.
