Centennial Beach Special Needs Nights begin Sunday, June 17

Back by popular demand, four Special Needs Nights are planned at Centennial Beach this season: June 17, June 24, July 15 and July 29. On each of these Sunday evenings those with special needs are invited to take advantage of a time set aside just for them and their friends and family.

“For the past several years, families with special needs have enjoyed being able to bring their children to the Beach in a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere,” said Andrea Coates, aquatics manager at the Naperville Park District. “We are happy to provide this opportunity again.”

The shallow end and slide at the Beach will open at 6:30 p.m. on each of the four Sunday evenings for special needs families and friends, with a closing time of 8:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, and no pre-registration is required. Season members may use their passes; others will pay $3 per person.

Centennial Beach is located at 500 W. Jackson Avenue in downtown Naperville.
