Healing Field of Honor returning to Naperville, Illinois

(Naperville, Illinois) (Naperville, Illinois) The National Healing Field Foundation is honored to join Operation Support Our Troops – America and the Naperville Park District in announcing that the 2012 Naperville Healing Field of Honor will be returning to downtown Naperville November 8th through the 13th. American flags will once again be proudly displayed on Rotary Hill as we unite as a community to remember and honor the men and women of the U.S. Military. The proceeds from this memorial will be used to create new and better treatments for veterans suffering from Traumatic Brain Injuries, (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Each 3-foot by 5-foot flag will stand 8-feet tall in perfectly aligned columns and rows from the base of Rotary Hill rising to the top of the hill at Aurora Avenue. It is a visually powerful memorial, one you will want to experience. You are welcome to walk through the memorial and encouraged to view it from the top deck of the Carillon for an aerial view.

There will be additional events to recognize the men and women in the U.S. Military throughout the week, including a Veteran's Day Observance on November 11th at 11:00 am, featuring patriotic carillon music, refreshments and an official ceremony.

Flags for the Healing Field Memorial may be purchased for $30, you may dedicate a flag with a "Tag of Honor" for $35. Flags can be picked up from the field on the final day of the event or shipped to you for an additional $10. Flag order forms are available at the Naperville Park District Administrative Office and online at
