JLKD Scholarship and Grant Deadline March 2nd

To promote its mission of voluntarism and developing the potential of women, the Junior League of Kane & DuPage Counties, Inc. (JLKD) is currently accepting scholarship applications from local, college-bound, female high school students. At least two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to the most deserving applicants who show an outstanding commitment to voluntarism.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be female, college-bound high school seniors and reside in Kane, DuPage, Kendall or Will Counties.

JLKD will also be awarding an Innovative Teaching Grant. One grant of $500 will be awarded to the most deserving applicant who shows an outstanding commitment to education.
To qualify, applicants must be a K-12 teacher or teaching team for a public or private school in Kane, DuPage, Kendall or Will Counties.

JLKD is an organization of over 160 women from throughout DuPage, Kane, Kendall and Will Counties which focuses on improving the quality of life for children at risk in the community by providing critical resources and programs through our trained volunteers.
