Celebrate 25 Years of Naperville Community Television with an Open House

On Wednesday, February 29, Naperville Community Television, Channel 17 (NCTV17) will kick off its 25th anniversary year with an open house celebration from 5-8:00 PM. The public is invited to tour the television studios, meet their favorite on-air personalities and behind-the-scenes staff members, and learn firsthand how NCTV17 develops its diverse programming of local news, sports, events and documentaries.

At 6:30 PM, guests will be treated to a special preview of an upcoming documentary on the history of NCTV17. The documentary, which will air in its entirety in mid-summer, turns the cameras on NCTV17 to explore the organization’s development and impact on the city. NCTV17 has been tuning in to Naperville for 25 years to cover the events, people, places and perspectives that are important to Naperville residents. The documentary will provide an inside perspective on how the organization has adapted and thrived in response to ever-changing technology and the transformation of the Naperville community.

Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served at the open house. There is no charge, but guests are asked to RSVP their attendance to KWebb@nctv17.com.
