Keep the Team Up-To-Date With Their Own Website

Coach, keep everyone in the loop with a team website that costs less per month than a case of Gatorade.

Post schedules, map links and more so there’s no confusion about where to go and when to show up. A website is a major improvement over a piece of paper stuck to the fridge with a magnet! Parents, players, fans and coaches alike can find the information they need from anywhere they have access to the Internet whether at work, at home or on their phone.

Updating is a snap — you can do it yourself in a few minutes and it’s instantly available to everyone without worrying about missed phone messages or blocked email.

To make it even easier to get started, a free website workshop will be held on Thursday, May 20, at the Naperville Chamber of Commerce conference room. Bring your laptop and your schedule, and our webmasters will teach you how to upload your team logo, how to add your game information, and how to update the pages on your own for the rest of the season.

With no start-up fee and only month-to-month hosting costs as long as you need your site, this could be the solution you’ve been looking for.

Seating is limited, so register now to reserve your place. To register or to learn more, see the DotNetNukeNow website.

Two local web development companies will guide participants in building a basic website for their business, charitable event or organization during this free 90 minute workshop.

Attendees bringing their laptop computers and marketing materials will be guided in creating their own website using a Content Management System called DotNetNuke. This widely used system is based on Microsofts .NET technology. Each attendee will be given access to their own web pages during the workshop and will be guided through the steps to add their own logo, photos, and text. With the techniques learned during the workshop, attendees can continue adding and editing the pages after they leave the class. If they decide to launch the website, workshop attendees pay only the $15 per month hosting fee. The DotNetNuke system continues to be free to use.

This workshop to build websites using DotNetNukeNow is a joint effort by J&S Tech Design and Gnu Ventures Company, web developers serving the DuPage area since 1996. To learn more about the “Build a Website Workshop” and to register, visit
