Woman pushes police officer, and more

The following items were taken from Naperville police records June 4.


  • A 42-year-old man from the 3S500 block of Burk Avenue, Warrenville, was arrested about 12:51 a.m. June 1 and charged with battery.
  • A 36-year-old woman from the 1500 block of Georgia Court was arrested about 8:11 p.m. June 2 at her home and charged with battery and obstructing justice after giving false information to police and pushing an officer.
  • A 24-year-old woman from the 4400 block of Normandy Drive, Lisle, was arrested about 1:08 a.m. June 2 at South Washington Street and east Jefferson Avenue and charged with battery and resisting a peace officer.
  • A 53-year-old man from the 1100 block of Vail Court was arrested about 6:25 p.m. June 3 in the 800 block of South Route 59 and charged with battery and disorderly conduct after yelling at and spitting on another person and pounding on the hood of the person’s car.


  • A man was cited for possession of cannabis and expired registration after police pulled him over at Swallow Street and Redstart Road about 11:22 p.m. June 2.

Illegal consumption of alcohol

  • Minors were cited for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor after running from a party in the area of Ewing Street and Douglas Avenue about 1:13 a.m. June 3.


  • A vehicle was burglarized in the 700 block of Royal St. George Drive as its owner was bringing items from the vehicle into her apartment between 10:30 and 10:37 p.m. May 31.


  • A 47-year-old woman from the 0-99 block of Notre Dame Drive was arrested about 8:12 p.m. June 1 at her home and charged with theft and violating an order of protection.
  • A copper bar was removed from a cellular station in the 2300 block of 95th Street between May 1 and 31.
  • Cash was stolen from vending machines in the 1600 block of Wall Street between 3 p.m. May 31 and 1:29 p.m. June 2 by someone who cut the locks on them.
  • A delivery box containing new tools was stolen from a front porch in the 1200 block of Leverenz Road between 5 p.m. June 1 and 8 a.m. June 2.
  • A woman stole $34.92 in clothing from a store in the 500 block of Fort Hill Drive about 12:26 p.m. by concealing them in her purse.


  • Numerous city utilities and stop signs had the word snow written on them in permanent marker.
  • A mailbox and post in the 700 block of Wildflower Circle were damaged between 3 p.m. June 2 and 11 a.m. June 3. There were two other similar incidents reported in the area.

Resisting arrest

  • A 19-year-old man from the 700 block of Superior Court and an 18-year-old man from the 2200 block of Highfield Lane, Aurora, were arrested about 3:14 a.m. June 1 at the 19-year-old’s home. The 19-year-old was charged with resisting a peace officer and false report of offense. The 18-year-old was charged with resisting/obstructing/disarming an officer and disorderly conduct.


  • Police arrested five people for DUI June 2 and 3.
