Man brandishes gun during fight, and more

The following items were taken from Naperville police records May 22.

Aggravated assault

  • A man displayed a firearm to another man after a verbal altercation at Chicago Avenue and South Washington Street between 12:30 and 12:45 a.m. May 19.

Stolen vehicle

  • A vehicle was stolen from the 700 block of South Route 59 between 10:30 a.m. and noon May 18.

Drugs

  • A 19-year-old man from the 8200 block of Springfield Avenue, Skokie, was arrested about 12:52 a.m. May 20 in the 400 block of South Brainard Street and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • A 21-year-old man from the 3600 block of Landsdown Avenue was arrested about 1:04 a.m. May 18 at Eldorado Court and Skyland Drive and charged with possession of cannabis, DUI and expired registration.
  • A 20-year-old man from the 5S700 block of Ridgeview Road was arrested about 2:18 a.m. May 18 at South Wright Street and Villa Avenue and charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Child endangerment

  • A 28-year-old woman from the 4600 block of Lake Valley Drive, Lisle, was arrested about 10:37 p.m. May 18 in the 1300 block of Ogden Avenue and charged with endangering the health/life of a child.

Damage

  • A 27-year-old man from the 1300 block of Snowberry Lane, West Chicago, was arrested about 1:50 a.m. May 20 in the 0-99 block of East Chicago Avenue and charged with criminal damage to property.
  • Mailboxes were damaged in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of River Woods Drive between 11:30 p.m. May 19 and 8 a.m. May 20.
  • Letters were written in black marker on an electrical box on the northwest corner of 6th Avenue and North Loomis Street.
  • The word snow was written in black marker on a left arrow sign at Gartner Road and Driftwood Court.

Burglary

  • A vehicle was burglarized in the 1800 block of North Naper Boulevard between 8 p.m. May 18 and 4 p.m. May 19.
  • A vehicle was burglarized in the 1800 block of North Naper Boulevard between 9 p.m. May 18 and 5 p.m. May 19.

Theft

  • A man stole a tomato plant from a store in the 1700 block of West Ogden Avenue about 4:23 p.m. May 19.
  • A pair of shorts containing a cell phone and debit card were stolen from a locked locker in the 2700 block of Fitness Drive between 4 and 5:50 p.m. May 18.

Resisting arrest

  • An 18-year-old man from the 22200 block of South Gawain Drive, Joliet, was arrested about 1:17 a.m. May 19 in the 3000 block of 111th Street and charged with resisting a peace officer, DUI, speeding and possession of liquor by a minor.
  • A 33-year-old man from the 700 block of Small Court was arrested about 1:53 a.m. May 19 at West Benton Avenue and South Main Street and charged with two counts of resisting a peace officer.

DUI

  • Police arrested 10 people for DUI between May 18-20 in addition to those listed above.
