Early bloomers: Spring flowers ahead of schedule

Plants react to increasing light as well as temperatures to “decide” when to bloom. And just as humans have decided to run around in shorts in middle to late March, the plants are blooming in full regalia as much as three to four weeks earlier than normal.  TribLocal and its contributors have caught some early bloomers on camera, and will consider adding yours if you email them to triblocaltips@tribune.com. Happy early spring blooming and photographing!
