Community Producer
My name is Heather Leszczewicz. I'm a TribLocal community producer for the northwest suburbs. I handle about 20 websites daily and run two newspapers. I'm the specific contact for Arlington Heights, Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, Hoffman Estates, Mount Prospect, Prospect Heights, Rolling Meadows, Schaumburg, Streamwood and Wheeling.

I know there are plenty of stories out there that are worth sharing, but how to let people know what's happening isn't always easy. That's why TribLocal exists. I'm here to help you share your stories, photos and events with your neighbors and the community.

I've always wanted to be a writer. I started out my career running online newsletters in grade school and then moved onto school newspapers. I got my degree in journalism from Marquette University in Milwaukee. I've worked for OnMilwaukee.com and the Chicago Sun-Times Media Group.

I'm a big believer in social media. I love to read. I am a TV fiend. I follow pop culture. I am a listener of all types of music. I'm a movie buff.
