I may be new to exclusively covering the Barrington area, though I am no stranger.

Before joining TribLocal, I had a several year stint covering crime throughout the northwest suburbs for the Chicago Tribune. Before that I was referred to what is called in the news biz, a floater, covering news as a stringer wherever I was assigned to do so, which included the Barrington area.

I also am a bucking Broncos alumni! I graduated from Barrington High School before heading east where I graduated from Roger Williams University in Rhode Island. I received an MA degree from Emerson College in Boston.

I may know the Barrington area, but what I don’t know is your news. I welcome any tips or, story ideas that come my way.
