Big Blast is forming a new partnership with Suzanne M. Gray, creator and author of the nationally recognized fitness program for youth with autism, called Raise the Bar. Right Fit Sport Fitness and Wellness, Suzanne’s company, is located in the south western suburbs, where they provide Raise the Bar fitness programs on and off site locations, and in many private and public schools, as well as out of state.

Beginning in June, they will be offering three 8 week class sessions. A Summer Sport and Fitness Class will be starting on June 8th. This class will meet Fridays from 4-5 PM and will end August 3rd. Two additional Fitness Classes will be held Sundays from 1-2 PM and 2:15-3:15 PM. These classes begin June 10th and end on August 5th. All classes are held at Progressive Sports Performance located at 2775 Shermer Road, Unit 110, Northbrook, IL 60062. Each class will have a minimum of 5 and maximum of 6 participants. Each child will be partnered with his or her own buddy/trainer. Group classes will cost $30.00 per class or $240 for the 8 week session. In addition to the group classes, private training sessions are available by appointment.

Benefits of these classes include improvement in strength and endurance, communication, social skills, motor planning, coordination, and confidence as students engage in “Raise the Bar” strength training, games, sports, fine motor activities, and more.
