The Republican Women of Park Ridge (RWOPR) want you to "learn more about our government directly from the people who make the news." The Thursday, March 15 General Meeting is sure to deliver!

RWOPR will present Adam Andrzejewski, CEO, For the Good of Illinois, a citizen watchdog group that advocates transparency of public spending in Illinois, project founder and former IL Gubernatorial Candidate as keynote speaker. Adam is a businessman and government watchdog from the town of Herscher, Illinois and now resides in Hinsdale, Illinois. He and his brother founded the independent publishing company, HomePages Directories. During Adams 2010 Gubernatorial race he received an endorsement from Lech Wałęsa, former Polish President and Nobel Peace Prize Laureate and from talk radio host Rush Limbaugh.

Mr Andrzejewski will share with us what we can expect in 2012 for Illinois, discuss his project, a non profit organization that educates, engages and empowers citizens to demand a transparent, accountable and limited government, and much more. This is a non-partisan issue. The use of our taxes and the State's spending is something all Illinois citizens should concern themselves with. Join RWOPR and Adam Andrzejewski as we learn where our tax dollars go. Plus, ways to find and curb unnecessary spending. As always, questions are welcome and encouraged.

I recently had the pleasure of listening to Whitney Zahnd interview Andrzejewski during the 'live online' GrizzlyFest-WinterFest( forum. It was impressive and inspiring to hear that Adam's grass root, citizen organized efforts of a push for forensic audits in the Illinois government books became such an important piece of transparency that it was used as a campaign point in Rahm Emanuel's mayoral campaign. Citizen, we can make a difference with action.

Adam Andrzejewski's vision for a better Illinois? He writes that his work is inspired for "a proud Illinois with a reputation of integrity and opportunity where institutions and citizens can flourish."

The RWOPR's General Meeting is March 15, 7:00pm at the South Park Recreation Center, 833 Talcott @ Cumberland, Park Ridge, IL. Doors open at 6:45pm. Admission is free and all are welcome, men too.
Incorporated in 1936, Republican Women of Park Ridge club meetings are held September through April, excluding December, on the third Thursday of each month unless indicated otherwise. Men are welcome and encouraged to attend and join.
