Local Democrats Host A Talk With Illinois Governor Pat Quinn

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn was welcomed as a featured guest in our Meet the Candidates series on January 10, 2010. In January 2009, Pat Quinn was serving as Lieutenant Governor when Rod Blagojevich was removed from office. Quinn became Governor of Illinois at that time, and is now running for his first full term. Prior to serving as Governor and Lieutenant Governor, Quinn was State Treasurer, a Cook County Commissioner, and founder of the Coalition for Political Honesty. He spoke about his plans, shared thoughts on the problems facing Illinois, and answered questions from those in attendance.
