DUIs and car burglaries reported in Lemont, and more

These items were taken from Lemont Police reports released on Nov. 22.

DUI

  • A 34-year-old Chicago man was arrested Nov. 13 and charged with DUI and improper lane usage after a patrolman spotted him driving erratically through the intersection of Archer Avenue and McCarthy Road, police said.
  • A 22-year-old Lemont man was arrested Nov. 15 and charged with DUI and improper lane usage after he was stopped at Main Street and Wheeler Drive, police said.
  • A 50-year-old Lemont man was arrested Nov. 16 and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol and violation of the zero tolerance law following a traffic stop at Holmes and Illinois Streets, police said.

Theft

  • A currency and a CTA card were both stolen from a car Nov. 20 while parked in the 1100 block of Country Lane, police said.

Auto burglary

  • A Garmin GPS unit, several U.S. coins and the contents of a wallet were stolen during the burglary of a car sometime between Nov. 19 and Nov. 20 while parked in the 1200 block of Janas Lane, police said.
