NuMark Credit Union Offers Free Credit Score Analysis to Help Consumers Save Money

Joliet, IL, June 2012 – Many consumers do not know their credit score or what affects their score. What you don’t know can hurt you. Consumers who know how to manage their score will save money on their financing. The higher their credit score, the less they will pay for the money they borrow.

NuMark Credit Union is currently offering a Free Credit Score Analysis through their “What’s Your Score” campaign. You do not have to be a member of NuMark Credit Union to participate. Those who come in will find out what makes up their credit score, what hurts their score, and what they can do to help raise their credit score.

“A common misconception these days is a few late payments will completely ruin your credit. However, late payments will become less significant with time as long as you continue to make payments on time,” says Financial Service Rep, Maria Alcantar.

Those who are interested in a free credit score analysis are encouraged to stop in and talk with a NuMark Credit Union representative. Call (815) 729-3211 or (708) 429-8590 to schedule an appointment. NuMark Credit Union has four convenient offices in Joliet, Crest Hill, Countryside and Tinley Park.

“We want to help consumers learn more about their credit scores, so they can save money,” says Ann M Dubie, President and CEO. “We focus everyday on ways to help enrich the financial lives of our members. Helping people save money, that is what NuMark Credit Union is all about.”
