Man pleads not guilty to setting fire to home of black family

A Joliet man facing arson and civil rights charges for alleging setting fire to the home of an African-American family on his street has been ordered detained by a federal judge.

Brian James Moudry, his head and arms covered with tattoos, entered a plea of not guilty as he appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Gilbert this morning.
