The World Race

2222

11 countries in 11 months. That's the World Race for you.

Thats what I'm leaving on in January. I'm part of a generation whose heartbeat is to change the world through God's love. I'm joining 45 men and women visiting 11 countries in 11 months. For the past 6 months, I've been fundraising to meet the required $15,500 for this trip. Support letters, speaking to local businesses, churches, t-shirt fundraisers and Threads of Hope are a few of the things I've been doing. Another way to help me meet my $15,500 is to donate online at www.jessemorris.theworldrace.org.

With a single backpack stuffed full, I'll make my first trip overseas spreading the gospel to the nations. I'll join a team of seven like-minded individuals and depart on our mission trip January 2012. We will travel to Philippines, China, India, Nepal, Swaziland, Mozambique, South Africa, Moldova, Romania, Haiti and Dominican Republic. Every day on the World Race will be a different. Our teamwill come along side missionaries teaching VBS, helping in orphanages and hospitals, working with construction projects or experiencing the communities and culture.

The World Race is a ministry of Adventures in Missions (AIM) which is an inter-denominational mission organization. AIM is sending people from different churches and backgrounds around the world on life-changing mission trips. To learn more visit www.Adventures.org.

This trip is about helping those people who don't have what we have around us back here in the United States. We have hospitals, running water, an abundance of food. What do they have in Mozambique? In Nepal? About one meal a day, and a dirt floor to sleep on. How can I sit here everyday and do the 9-5 work schedule when my heart is to serve those people who need so much help?
