Merchandise purchased with stolen card, and more

The following items were taken from Huntley Police Department records on April 30.

Unlawful use of credit card

  • A person attempted to purchase merchandise with a stolen debit card at a retail business on the 9900 block of Route 47 April 23.

Burglary to motor vehicle

  • A purse containing cash and medication was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 11500 block of Douglas Street April 23.
  • A cell phone was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 11000 block of Myrtle Street April 29.

Criminal damage to property

  • A rock was thrown through the passenger’s side window of a vehicle parked at a residence on the 12100 block of Lincoln Street April 23.
  • A storage trailer was damaged with spray paint on the 11900 block of Ackman Road April 29.
  • A glass door was shattered at a business on the 11700 block of Powder Park Drive April 29.

Aggravated criminal sexual abuse

  • A 33-year-old man, of the 11600 block of East Main Street, was charged with two counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse April 23.
  • A 40-year-old man, of the 10800 block of Cape Cod Lane, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse, sexual exploitation of a child and battery April 24.

Retail theft

  • Alcohol was stolen from a store located on the 13200 block of Village Green Drive April 25.

Unlawful possession of a controlled substance

  • A 37-year-old man, of the 10600 block of North Church Street, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a hypodermic syringe April 26.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

  • An 18-year-old man, of the first block of Ronan Court in Lake in the Hills, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor April 26. An 18-year-old man, of the 9900 block of Bedford Avenue, and two male juveniles, were also charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
