Student caught with fireworks, pot at Huntley High, and more

The following items were taken from Huntley Police Department records on March 26.

Unlawful possession of cannabis

  • A 17-year-old Huntley teen was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of fireworks at Huntley High School March 19.

Disorderly conduct

  • A 41-year-old man, of the 10100 block of Compton Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct and two counts of harassment by electronic communications March 19.

Outstanding warrant

  • A 45-year-old man, of the 1000 block of Noelle Bend, Lake in the Hills, was arrested March 20 for an outstanding warrant out of Lake County.


  • Two magnet door signs were taken from a residence on the 12800 block of Del Webb Boulevard March 22.
  • A money clip containing an undisclosed amount of cash, a debit card and gift cards was stolen from a gym bag at a business on the 10400 block of Algonquin Road March 25.
