Eggs thrown at car, purse stolen from store, and more

The following items were taken from Hinsdale Police Department reports:

Burglary to a motor vehicle

A bag containing a wallet, driver’s license, and credit cards was reported stolen March 26 from an unlocked truck parked in the 0-100 block of South Oak Street.

Theft

A purse containing $120 and credit cards was reported stolen March 18 from a store in the 0-100 block of South Washington Street. The owner of the purse said she left it unattended at the front of the store. One of her credit cards was used later in the day.

Vandalism

A motorist reported three eggs were thrown at his car while he was driving near 55th and Bodin streets at 9 p.m. March 23. Paint on the car was damaged in three areas. No estimate of the value of the damage was provided.
