It's "Texas Two-Step" Time At Allendale's 29th Benefit and Auction

Country music recording artist Jimmy Wayne helped Allendale “Party in the Prairie” at its 29th Annual Benefit and Auction held at the Wagner Farm in Glenview recently.

More than 200 people packed the Wagner Farm, which was transformed into a “Country and Western” stage reminiscent of Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry.

The event attracted guests from Wisconsin to downtown Chicago and most were decked out in their best western wear complete with cowboy boots, hats, and chaps!

The event, which included cocktails, dinner, silent and live auctions, a concert from the Jimmy Wayne Trio, and line dancing inspired by the barn-storming music of the Suburban Cowboys, raised more than $50,000 to help the children, youth and families served by the Allendale Association.
