The Lombard Jaycees’ celebrated the 29th anniversary of the Taste of Lombard in 2011, which turned out to be one of the best year’s the Jaycees’ had seen for the event. This year’s event is expected to top last year’s and again bring an impressive main stage band line up for the 30th anniversary. Lynch Mob, The Fold, Modern Day Romeos, 7th Heaven, as well as several other acts will take center stage at this year’s Taste of Lombard.

Lucky Boys Confusion will perform at this year's event on Saturday, July 7th at 9pm! This will be the second year in a row that Lucky Boys Confusion will play at the Taste of Lombard. Lucky Boys Confusion also known as LBC, formed in Downers Grove, IL in the late 90’s. In 1998 they received an enormous amount of airplay on Chicago’s Q101 for their single “Dumb Pop Song.” In May 2001 their single “Fred Astaire,” became a college radio favorite and they also received some national airplay for their single “Hey Driver.” Lucky Boys Confusion has an enormous fan base and has very noteworthy live performances.

Lynch Mob is headlining Friday, July 6 and features legendary guitarist George Lynch of Dokken, vocalist Oni Logan, bassist Robbie Crane of Ratt and drummer Brian Tichy of Whitesnake. Lynch Mob was formed in 1989 after George Lynch parted ways with Dokken. In the early 90’s the band released two albums “Wicked Sensation” in 1990 and the self titled album “Lynch Mob” in 1992 and also went on two worldwide tours. Lynch went on hiatus after the second tour and hit the studio to begin work on his solo projects. In the late 90’s Lynch reunited with the band and in 1999 they released “Smoke This” and “Syzygy.” In 2003 “Revolution” was released and in 2009 the band released “Smoke and Mirrors.” Some of the hits they will be performing are Wicked Sensation, Kiss of Death and River of Love. The band will be releasing a new album later on in 2012.
