Village to Host State of the Village and Meet Mayor Events

Glen Ellyn, IL – Glen Ellyn residents are cordially invited to attend two unique events in the Village.

On Monday, May 7 at 7 p.m., you are welcome to hear Glen Ellyn Village President Mark Pfefferman offer Glen Ellyn's annual State of the Village address. Similar to last year, this will be a stand-alone event separated from an official Village Board Meeting.

Following the State of the Village address, Village President Mark Pfefferman will host an informal question and answer session, “Meet Mayor Mark,” in an open house format. There will be no specified program or agenda. People of all ages are welcome. In addition to asking questions, participants are encouraged to offer constructive feedback about Glen Ellyn’s strengths and opportunities to improve.

The State of the Village portion of the meeting will be televised, but the “Meet Mayor Mark” session will not. Both events will be held in the Galligan Board Room on the third floor of the Glen Ellyn Civic Center, 535 Duane Street. Your attendance is encouraged! Please contact Kristen Schrader, Assistant to the Village Manager with the Village, at 630-469-5000, with any questions on these upcoming events.
