The annual student-produced event showcased more than 120 garments in a professional-quality runway show, all produced by majors and minors in Dominican’s highly rated apparel design and merchandising programs. The 2012 show’s theme, “Mirage,” symbolized the designer’s journey to find beauty through their work.

Dominican’s apparel design and merchandising department imparts aesthetic and professional technical competence in fashion and costume design. The department fosters a liberal arts-centered understanding of apparel as both an art form and a business.
