$923 in meat stolen, and more

The following incidents were taken from Glen Ellyn police reports on April 24:


A cellphone, valued at $500, was reportedly stolen from a student’s backpack at Hadley Junior High, 240 Hawthorne Boulevard, on April 16.

Packaged meat, valued at $923.06, was reported stolen at Chicago Prime Meat Market, 682 Roosevelt Road, on April 19.

Two bicycles, valued at $350, were reported stolen from a garage in the 300 block of Sandhurst Circle on April 22.

A multi-purpose tool was stolen from the front seat of an unlocked vehicle in the 400 block of Fawell Boulevard on April 22.

Property damage

The hood of a car was damaged in the 700 block of Roosevelt Road on April 17.


A Wheaton woman was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage and sign violation near the intersection of Hill Avenue and Main Street on April 17.

Disorderly conduct

A Chicago man was charged with disorderly conduct in the 500 block of Crescent Boulevard on April 17.

Public intoxication

A Wheaton man was charged with public intoxication at 7-Eleven, 6 S. Park Boulevard, on April 18.


An Addison man was charged with possession of cannabis at Park Boulevard near Raintree Drive on April 19.

A Bloomingdale man was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment and improper turn at an intersection near the intersection of Main Street and Great Western Trail on April 20.
