Golf clubs stolen out of car, and more

The following incidents were taken from Glen Ellyn police reports on Sept. 28:

DUI

A Montgomery man was charged with driving under the influence after police found his vehicle stopped on the roadway at Route 53 near Sheehan Avenue with two flat tires on Sept. 18.

A Glen Ellyn man was charged with driving under the influence and driving with one tail light at the intersection of Park Boulevard and Butterfield Road on Sept. 19.

A Bolingbrook man was charged with driving under the influence, improper parking on a roadway, illegal transportation of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at Baker Hill near Roosevelt Road on Sept. 22.

Theft

A purse and several credit cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at Glen Crest Middle School, 725 Sheehan Ave., on Sept. 18.

A bottle of soda and a package of sausage were reported stolen from Jewel, 599 Roosevelt Road, on Sept. 18.

An iPhone was reported stolen from a backpack at Abraham Lincoln School, 380 Greenfield Ave., on Sept. 19.

A bicycle was reported stolen from the bike rack outside of Hadley Junior High School, 240 Hawthorne Blvd., on Sept. 20.

An envelope containing $20 was stolen from an office at Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd., on Sept. 21.

A bicycle was reported stolen from Glenbard West High School, 670 Crescent Blvd., on Sept. 22.

A golf bag and golf clubs, valued at $2,500, were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Maple Street on Sept. 22.

Property damage

A front windshield has been shattered by rocks at America’s Best Value Inn, 675 Roosevelt Road, on Sept. 20.
