Thanks to the Dancing With the Geneva Stars sponsors, support volunteer help, dance teams, and the public contributing vote dollars, the committee is pleased to announce that $20,557 was raised to benefit the Geneva Cultural Arts Commission and the Geneva Academic Foundation. Special thanks to City of Geneva, History Center and Gallery 28 for their support, and to Eagle Brook Country Club for being so accommodating and allowing DWGS to utilize the entire facility. And thanks to the volunteers who worked for the committee at the event.
Thank you to the DWGS patron, Linda Cunningham, founder and artistic director of State Street Dance Studio for whom the entire show would not happen without her artistry. Professional dance instructors Alex Artega, Michael and AuBrey Saelee took 12 unprofessional adults and created a special evening of dance.
Finally, thank you to the dance teams for your tireless work soliciting votes and rehearsing your dance routines.
