Metra: Won’t know until end of month whether summit will disrupt commute

Metra riders aren’t likely to know until the end of April how the upcoming NATO summit will affect their commuting plans, Metra CEO Alex Clifford said today.

That’s when Metra expects the U.S. Secret Service to advise the commuter rail agency about security precautions it plans to take in connection with the summit session May 20-21 at McCormick Place, Clifford said.
