Jasper – C.A.R.E. Pets of the Week

Chihuahua/Terrier Mix, 2 - 3 years old, Neutered male.

I'm a big dog in a tiny package! I love to play with toys, either on my own or with a person. I am very interested in everything around me. I want to see, sniff, taste and investigate everything. I love to have something to do, so I will need to be trained and entertained. I am smart and want to please you. If you are looking for a busy boy, I'm your guy! They said that I'm a Chihuahua, but I think I'm a new breed: Miniature Rottweiler!

ASPCA Canine-ality™ Assessment rating: Green / Life of the Party

Adoption Information:

Small size / weighs 10 lbs.

No children.

Jasper can not go to a home with cats. He needs work with other dogs.

Jasper needs an experienced owner who is dedicated to training and would like a rewarding challenge. Jasper gets frustrated when he can't get what he wants. D.O.G. classes will be a great way to address these issues.

Dog Obedience Group training is required.

Jasper is working on being housebroken. He is neutered, microchipped and has had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines.

Please come to the shelter to meet Jasper and speak to an adoption counselor for more information about him. Thank you.
