Downtown aquarium

There's a 4,000 gallon aquarium in downtown Elgin for the weekend as part of the Green Expo. For the fourth expo, fishermen shocked fish from the Fox River by Plano and transported them in a tank before placing them in the truck-turned-aquarium that will sit in front of The Centre for the weekend. At the expo, which runs Friday and Saturday, a pro fisherman will give fishing demonstrations at the aquarium. There are about 15 different species in the tank, including bluegill, varieties of catfish and walleye, according to fishermen. For information on the expo, visit www.elgingreenexpo.org.
