Dr. Erwin Lutzer will speak at local legal aid banquet 11/10.

Administer Justice, a Christian Legal Aid organization headquartered in Elgin, will host its annual fundraising banquet on Thursday, November 10, in the Drury Lane Grand Ballroom. Dr. Erwin Lutzer, Senior Pastor of The Moody Church, best-selling author and renowned radio personality, will give the keynote address.

The banquet will highlight the work of Administer Justice to provide free legal and financial services, tax controversy representation, as well as conflict resolution and educationals services. Since the year 2000, Administer Justice has been the fastest growing Christian Legal Aid organizations in the country, and is one of only two legal aid services available to all the residents of Illinios living outside of Cook County.

Funded almost completely by private donors, businesses, and churches, Administer Justice hosts its "Raising the Bar" banquet to fund its work to meet the rapidly growing demand for legal assistance by those suffering with poverty in the suburbs. The most current census indicates that 1 in 6 Americans exist in poverty. Locally, it is estimated that 1 in 3 suburban residents will have at least a brush with poverty due to job loss, downsizing, identity theft, predatory lending, and other situations occuring more often in these difficult economic times.

Admission to the banquet is free, and will include a 4-course dinner, an update on the work Administer Justice is doing within Kane and DuPage County, and an inspirational message from Dr. Erwin Lutzer.

Anyone interested in attending needs to register online through the organization's website:, or by calling 847-844-1100 x27.

Administer Justice is a non-profit charitable organization, and donations are tax-deductible. They are headquartered at 1750 Grandstand Place in Elgin.
