Something to Ponder on MLK Day

i have a dream

This morning, I came across this post on DeMarr Zimmerman's Facebook page:

I wonder what would have happened if Martin Luther King Jr. would have said…

"I kinda have a dream, sorta. Oh, never mind. It could never make it happen! It's too big of a dream anyway. People would just laugh at me thinking I could make that big of a change or difference."

Stop and think about that for a minute. What if Martin Luther King Jr. had those thoughts? A memorable, seventeen-minute speech would not have happened. History would not have been made.

How many times have you had thoughts that hold you back, thoughts that keep you from moving forward on something great?

In 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr. came forth and said over and over, "I have a dream…"

Those words changed the course of many lives.

"I have a dream…"

What's yours?
