Marquette Bank to Hold Annual Calendar & Neighbor Appreciation Week June 16 – 23

Marquette Bank, a locally-owned neighborhood bank, will be holding its annual Customer and Neighbor Appreciation Week from June 16 – 23. To help kick off the week, the bank will be holding a “Free Family Party featuring Jim Nesci’s Cold Blooded Creatures” on Saturday, June 16 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orland Park branch located at 7560 W. 159th St. Customers and Neighbors are invited to come see Jim Nesci’s Cold Blooded Creatures show featuring alligators and snakes, enjoy refreshments and participate in fun activities. Saturday, June 16 is also “Switch to Neighborhood Banking Day” at all Marquette Bank locations. Neighbors are encouraged to join the movement toward local banking and strengthening our local economy. Stop in at any Marquette Bank location for new customer specials and free credit history reports.

Throughout Customer and Neighbor Appreciation Week, all 24 Marquette Bank locations will be serving refreshments and providing games and activities for kids. As part of Marquette Bank’s 5th Annual Neighborhood Food Drive, the bank will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items at all branch locations to benefit local food pantries and neighborhood food banks served by the Greater Chicago Food Depository and Northern Illinois Food Bank.

Marquette Bank will be holding a “Love Where You Bank Prize Drawing” for a chance to win a $250 Marquette Bank gift card. To enter, customers and neighbors can come in to any branch and share why they chose to bank with Marquette Bank or how the bank can improve their neighborhood banking experience. The bank will also be holding a “Toshiba Netbook Give-a-Way Prize Drawing” for all Marquette Bank customers through Aug. 31, 2012. Customers are automatically entered each time they pay a bill online using Marquette Bank’s free online banking system. Each branch will also be holding a prize drawing for a chance to win lunch for a customer and their co-workers and to learn more about Marquette Bank. To enter, drop off your business card at any Marquette Bank location.

Bridgeport VFW Post 5079 – 3200 S. May St., Chicago – Come learn about the Welcome Home Heroes Financing Package, where Illinois veterans, active military personnel, reservists & Illinois National Guard members are eligible for $10,000 in home financing assistance.

Marquette Bank’s Customer and Neighbor Appreciation Week will also feature Free On-site Document Shredding at several of its locations on Saturday, June 16 and Saturday, June 23.
