Review of DuPage Election Commission finds room for improvement

The bipartisan DuPage Election Commission needs to improve its disclosure, ethics and procurement practices — and make its meetings more accessible, according to a review conducted by an accounting firm.

The findings were released Tuesday by the firm Crowe Horwath. The review was the latest in a series the firm is conducting of boards and commissions to which the DuPage County Board chairman appoints members.
