Northwest Community Hospital (NCH) Foundation trustee Gary Dorn (left) met up with NCH radiation oncologist Philip Lobo, MD, at last month’s President’s Circle dinner. Announced at this annual event for hospital donors at the $1,000 and up level, Dorn’s $100,000 charitable gift to the Radiation Oncology department will help Dr. Lobo and his colleagues obtain the most advanced tools for fighting cancer. The goal of the Foundation’s Radiation Oncology Campaign is to raise $1.9 million in charitable gifts to both purchase a new CT scanner and renovate the Cancer Services waiting area. So far, $1,035,000 has been raised toward the goal. To learn how you can contribute to this ongoing campaign, which will benefit the more than 1,000 patients treated at NCH each year, call the NCH Foundation at 847.618.4260. Special naming opportunities exist for large commitments. For information on President’s Circle membership, visit
