Metra: Customers will face screenings, searches during NATO summit

Forget that cup of coffee or water bottle. And leave your backpack at home.

Those are among the messages Metra is sending to riders who plan to take any of its trains during the three-day NATO summit weekend May 19-21.

Oh, and be prepared to be screened or even searched. Who will be selected for scrutiny? Metra isn’t saying.
