St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, Park Ridge, knows how to combine good works with a good time! On February 13, their annual Mardi Gras raised $20,000 which will be sent to Haiti via the Episcopal Relief and Development Organization. Nearly 200 partiers gathered in the Beyer Auditorium for fellowship, jambalaya, king cake and dancing. Joe Lill and his Six of One group had the crowd on its feet while the Key raffle added excitement each time a winning key lit up the lights and rang the bell.

The grand total raised by the Mardi Gras fundraiser, over its seven year history, is $145,000. All of this has been given to organizations supported by St. Mary’s and Episcopal Charities.   For more information, visit www.stmaryspr.org.
