Advent Season Comes to a Close for St. Michael School Children
Angels and the Holy Family

As the St. Michael students prepare for the Christmas holiday and vacation, they came together in reflection and song at a prayer service on Tuesday, December 22nd.

In a service written by Pat Chuchla, Sister Patricia McKee presided and Mrs. Bernadette Cuttone (principal) read the story The Littlest Angel as beautiful illustrations flashed up on the screen for all to appreciate. From the choir gallery, literature teacher Mrs. Patricia Dahlberg then told the Gospel story from Luke about the birth of Jesus.

Students from various grade levels participated in different roles such as angels, Mary, and Joseph. Nicole Schleyer read a reflection from "The Christmas Star." Justin Bell and Caroline Hegg shared their musical expertise to accompany the holy songs of Christmas under the guidance of Gary Patin and Renee Grilec.

What a prayerful way to prepare for the Christmas feast!
