“Freedom isn’t free,” stated Chief Marketing Officer Brett Penager. “We live in the greatest country in the world and today we honor our newest returning veterans who give their all so that we can enjoy this very freedom. Our heartfelt thanks go to all our participating veterans for placing their trust in us and for their service to the United States of America.”

Operation Share the Wellness was developed to fill in a much needed health care gap, offering one year of complimentary chiropractic care to returning veterans. Enrollment was available from July 4^th, 2008 through July 4^th, 2009 at all 38 Chicagoland and Kentucky Centers.

During the program, Chiro One served over 100 veterans, donating chiropractic care valued over $500,000 and also supported active duty military personnel serving overseas, collecting 577 cell phones and donating $1,000 to Cell Phones for Soldiers. $5,000 was donated to the VFW’s Operation Uplink program, providing calling cards for soldiers and over 1,000 care package items were collected to send to soldiers through Operation Gratitude.
