Hinsdale Junior Woman’s Club invites you to their annual benefit on February 27, 2010. Welcome To The Jungle will feature an exciting night of casino games, exotic food stations, open bar, silent and live auctions, raffles and dancing all night long and all for an important cause, Almost Home Kids. 

This year attendees can Swing on in for the fun at the Burr Ridge Marriott on Saturday February 27th from 7 p.m. to Midnight. Guests will be enjoying music by Mixit Entertainment, a variety of casino games including blackjack, Texas Hold’em and Craps, an array of auction items including a trip to St. Lucia where you will stay at a private home with all the amenities, design your own piece of jewelry beginning with a cut aquamarine or be a honorary White Sox bat boy or girl for a day including 4 tickets to the April 7th game.

VIP tickets include $25 in gambling chips, express lines for coat check, check-in, chips and raffle ticket purchase, premier seating around the dance floor and a raffle ticket for a luxurious weekend getaway downtown, exclusive to VIP ticket holders.

All proceeds from this benefit will go to Almost Home Kids, located in Naperville, which is a not-for-profit children's care center. Founded by parents of medically fragile children; this 10-bed facility is housed in a 4,000 square foot home set on 2 1/2 acres of land. It is the first of its kind in the nation and the only one in Illinois. It is recognized as a multidisciplinary model of excellence for the short-term clinical care of children who are medically fragile and who may also be technology-dependent. Children in the Respite Care program can be here for up to two weeks a year, and the 120-day Transitional Program serves as a bridge between hospital and home.
