                                   SPEAK OUT...  BARK 4 CARE!

Millions of families across the world, from all backgrounds and economic
levels, are touched by biological brain disorders. These disorders have a big
“stigma” attached to them, often leaving families feeling alone and desperate
for relief.

Unfortunately, there is no “cure” or clear “treatment path” for these brain
disorders; as a result, families need ongoing support of the people and
community around them. Bark 4 Care strives to lend support and care to
families in need.

Bark 4 Care was created by Betsy, a twelve-year-old girl, who, through her
family’s own experiences, saw the need to raise mental health awareness.
What started out with her making a necklace from the bark in her own backyard
has become a worthy cause. Betsy has truly become an advocate for biological
brain disorders — and she is making a difference, now it’s your turn.

Why Betsy chose bark?

Bark shields and protects trees from the environment. It appears to be strong,
yet it is delicate in nature-similar to a human being. The bark of a dog also
symbolizes the need to “speak out” for attention, which is why... WE NEED YOU!

Please join us!

November 17-25Th, we are extending our awareness campaign with... Shopping
"Stigma" Away at many local stores (see our website for a full list of participants and additional information). www.Bark4Care.org

Customers who make a tax deductible donation of  $10. or more to Bark 4 Care, will receive various discounts valid at place of donation and also be helping to bust the "stigma" in their community.

The proceeds benefit two wonderful organizations:

Erika’s Lighthouse, A Beacon of Hope for Adolescent Depression which provides
educational materials, programs, and activities for students, teachers, and parents in
order to raise awareness of the complex issues surrounding childhood and adolescent depression.

The Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation which provides vital support and
education to families raising a child with a biological brain disorder including anxiety,
ADHD, depression, and bipolar disorder.
