Bingo event at Winchester House for Residents
By Geary
Bingo calling

The Libertyville Lions Club sponsored Bingo at Winchester House (1125 North Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville) on Saturday, January 30th from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Club members helped set up, run the games, assist residents to and from the common game area and helped clean up.
About 55 residents participated in the fun. Lion Geary Hedrick was the bingo caller and Lions Margaret Burgauer, Tim Mahaney, Caryn Adolf, Dan Kniola and Del Parra assisted residents in playing as well as verifying the winning bingo cards! Prizes were given out to many players who enjoyed the different games that were played. Lion Caryn Adolf organized the event as part of the "Lions in Sight" community service projects.

This was a great opportunity for club members to participate in a hands-on service activity that enriches the community.
The Libertyville Lions was chartered in 1934 and is celebrating its 76th year serving Libertyville and the surrounding areas. For more information, visit www.libertyvillelionsclub.org.
