The Lake in the Hills Police Department recently held its annual National Night Out Against Crime Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show. The event featured a parade, which made its way from Lynn Dillow to Sunset Park. Vehicles from the Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show participated in the parade as well as new and old emergency vehicles from the Chicagoland area. Following the parade, parade-goers had the opportunity to Whack-A-Car, take a ride in the drunk driving simulator and view the Illinois State Police Roll Over Simulator. Funds raised from the car show go to support various police department community programs. For more information about the show, go to www.lithcarshow.com.
