Northwood Junior High’s N-Bassadors Club recently conducted a series of fundraising activities in an effort to provide relief to the victims of the Haitian earthquake. Northwood’s Huskies worked unselfishly to sell fleece caps, chocolate covered pretzels, and t-shirts with the design “Paws for Relief” emblazoned on them. Mrs. Bernstein, N-Bassadors Club Sponsor, stated, “I was in awe of how the students, staff, and parents rallied to support this fundraiser.” Their efforts culminated in a “Hats for Haiti” day where students were allowed to wear a hat in school if they purchased a sticker for $1. Total funds raised were $745.22!
