Northwood recently held its school’s spelling bee as part of the 2010 Lake County Spelling Bee. Seventh grader, Isa Spoerry, was the winner, correctly spelling the word “v-e-n-g-e-a-n-c-e.” Tianna Woods, also a seventh grader, was Northwood’s runner-up. Both students will advance to the sectional at South Park School in Deerfield on February 18th.
